MONET
The MONET
(MOnetoring NEtwork of Telecsopes) project
is
network of two telescopes that can be controlled in real time via the
Internet.
This will allow scientists of various disciplines to operate these
telescopes
from thier respective locations without having to encure the expense of
travel. One telescope is located at the McDonald Observatory in remote
West Texas. A second telescope is located near Sutherland in South
Africa.
